本站的伺服器自 2006 年採用 Intel Q6600 至今已屆五年,
雖然近來無恙但考慮到器材老舊與廢熱排放,
索性趁著記憶體價格崩盤及溽暑來臨之前物色新的硬體平台,
並試圖打造峰值耗電小於 150w 的節能伺服器。
以下為 Intel Pentium G620 的 ubench 設定參數與測試結果,
與去年的結果有過之而無不及,
新一代低階雙核效能居然能與舊款中高階四核比肩,不禁讓人讚嘆時代的進步。 😀
